Historical Blankets for Sale at The Clovis Museum
The Clovis Museum in Old Town Clovis is selling a historical blanket in recognition of the 2012 Clovis Centennial. The blanket is 6 feet by 4 feet, not including a 4 inch fringe all around, with pale to medium blue background; the “Clovis Gateway to the Sierras” sign, which currently spans Clovis Avenue between 4th Street and 5th Street, is depicted across the top margin;

The bottom edge is emblazoned “Clovis, California -U.S.A." with the American flag in each bottom corner. Over-all, the blanket is very impressive, not only in looks, but, in its ability to capture the essence of Clovis history. Blanket description is taken from The Clovis Museum Website. As of now, there are only 27 historical blankets remaining. It’s a wonderful blanket, and it will soon become a much-sought item because of the Clovis Centennial. Blanket is available for $45 each. The supplies are easily running out, so get it as a present for yourself, family, friend, or special someone for Christmas. |
