Blues and art for a cure

Benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
Sierra Vista Mall's Community Park

Clovis, CA - April 17, 2008.  On Sunday May 18 Sierra Vista Mall's Community Park (near the movie theater) will rock with the BLUES AND ART FOR A CURE benefir show beginning at 12:00 Noon.  The event is free and open to all ages.

Acoustic Highway opens the show, followed by The Furious Slugs and then the headliner.  The MoFo Party Band.  All three bands have been affected on a very personal level by Leukemia and are focused on finding a cure.

Information booths along with local artists will be set up around the park area, by the clock tower.  The PT Cruiser Club of Central California will have their cars on display in parking lot.

The Central California Blood Center will accept donations of blood and platelets and register those who are interested in becoming a bone marrow transplant donor.

Raffle tickets will be sold for a chance to win a cruise donated by CruiseOne inside Sierra Vista Mall, along with other great prizes.

ARTHOP AT SIERRA VISTA MALL moves to the 2^nd Sunday of each Month

Reaching out to the Clovis community with an opportunity to experience art at no cost to the public speaks volumes to the mission of Sierra Vista Mall.  Sierra Vista Mall is a culturally diverse, family oriented shopping center and is pleased to partner with the Fresno Arts Council and ArtHop.  For more ArtHop locations and information www.fresnoarts.net.
