Shirley V. Lindgren, a representational painter who uses oils, watercolors, acrylics, mixed media, and pastels, has been painting since her father gave her a set of paints when she was 10.
Shirley has trained formally with various artists, has won many awards, is a member of the Alliance of California Artists, Clovis Art Guild, Society of Western Artists, Pastel Society of the West Coast, and the Kingsburg Art Guild, and her work has hung in multiple galleries.
A Fresno resident for 40 years, she loves to paint still lives, flowers, scenes from our valley, the coast, and the Sierras. She is available for commission work also.
Her art has been purchased by collectors throughout the US, Canada, Australia, and Greece.
In addition to being an artist, Shirley teaches art in her home studio, and at the Clovis Adult School, and has done so for over a decade. Shirley can be easily reached at 559.255.0826.
Shirley's work will show at Planet Java from March 20 through May 14. There will be a reception for her on March 20, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
