Up one levelAfrican American Historical & Cultural Museum
Our Mission is to celebrate and promote the richness of African and African American history, art and culture in the Central San Joaquin Valley through exhibition, theater, music and education.
Arte Americas, Casa Cultural
Arte Américas is a celebration of Arts in Mexico, Latin America, the Southwest and California. Its focus is on the ability of art to be both culturally specific and universally understood. When one steps into nuestra casa cultural, we want our artists to know one another, our members to learn more about different art forms and culture, and our community to feel that this is, indeed, their home. Our Mission is “To Make the Central Valley a flourishing place for Latino arts.”
Fresno Art Museum
The Fresno Art Museum collects, preserves, and exhibits to the public tangible objects valuable to art and history. Exhibitions include a wide range of contemporary as well as modern works by local, national and international artists.
Fresno Metropolitan Museum
The Met's mission of serving the community of the curious continues during an extensive renovation to their home in the historic Fresno Bee Building, slated to reopen this fall. A temporary location at 933 Van Ness houses their Reeves ASK Science Center and its current exhibition, Crossroads: The Meeting of Art and Science. Crossroads features hands-on, interactive stations exploring the intersections, the meeting points and the connections between art and science.
